Attack of the fauxtographer…

A friend of mine created this (undoubtedly) controversial blog on Tumblr recently.  Although it reeks of frustration, I think she does have a point.  I  honestly can’t say I disagree as I’ve seen some really awful family portraiture in my area the past few years.  I think it’s good food for thought.  Here’s part 1 of her first post (crappy photo donated by moi…):

Really Bad Photography

Pardon Our Dust | Phoenix Photography

In importing my posts from the blog on our old server, the images were lost.  So I have to manually re-add them to some 50+ posts.  It will take a while but I’m working on it.  Good thing I saved this project for my “vacation” which is really more of a “staycation.”  ;)

Leah | Phoenix Model

Tom and I had the pleasure of meeting Leah and her mom this afternoon. Leah, fairly new to modeling, is working on expanding her portfolio. She did a fantastic job and is a natural in front of the camera. To top it all off, I can’t believe it, but it’s impossible to take a bad picture of this girl!
